Ellie (E) : Did you know that in 2020 people didn’t believe we would be living here?

Rumi (R) : Like on Mars at all? Thats WILD! — yeah i saw an archive in National Geographic where Elon Musk only reckoned it would have happened by 2060.

E : I wonder what it would have been like to be born on earth instead? Have you ever visited?

R : I know, be weird to breathe organic oxygen, be scary to have only my biological intelligence and have to touch things with my skin to make changes in the world! I don’t know if I would like it…

E : Well I’ve seen that Easyjet have a new low cost super fast weekend trip to go visit the ol’ green and blue. i was thinking of going next month for my 30th birthday. Whaddya say?

R : Really? for your 30th? wouldn’t you rather smash up the volcanoes on our velociraptors?

With the new startup i am building to do instant solar teleportation I want to make sure ive got the right values in place and I reckon there is still some stuff to learn from our history as forest people, after all, it is where we came from…

R : Yeah but didn’t they spend most of their time creating Gods out of Money and Money out of Gods in order to keep everyone in line? All through Rome, Londinium and then Palo Alto?

E : Yeah but then something clicked, the big scare happened, a year of lockdown and there saw a massive upsurge in the spirit of friendship and the forest lot realised that the source of alot of their troubles were old systems that they had internalised, believing that they needed more to be safe. they realised that more for them was less for safety and less for them meant more for their safety. — thats where we get the old school wisdom from now written in our code but it wasn’t always that way.

It was around the origins of bitcoin and blockchain, when the biosphere was breaking when the cracks between nations started forming and too many people started falling through them than the forest people started growing new systems that allowed the old fragile systems to fall away, leaving the earth that we now know as…
